Synopsis
Rosa Wilder, having resigned from the police force, returns to her home village of Oberwies to care for her terminally ill father and spend time with her young son. Her hopes for a quiet life are shattered when the local village policeman dies under mysterious circumstances—initially appearing as an accident but soon revealed to be murder. Compelled by her instincts, Rosa reluctantly resumes her investigative role and collaborates with her former colleague, Manfred Kägi. As they delve deeper into the case, they uncover layers of village corruption and family tragedies that complicate the investigation.
